DELAWARE COUNTY — Three cities, four villages and 18 townships comprise Delaware County.
Each city, village and township includes a group of individuals tasked with serving as the primary legislative and policymaking body for their communities.
It can be difficult to keep track of when, where and at what time each of these bodies meet each month. That’s why Delaware Source has compiled a comprehensive list of this information, broken down by city, village and township levels.

Cities: Delaware, Powell and Sunbury
Delaware County includes three cities, Delaware, Powell and Sunbury, and portions of three others — Columbus, Dublin and Westerville.
Below is information regarding when and where each city’s council meets:
Delaware: Delaware City Council meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Meetings take place at Delaware City Hall, 1 S. Sandusky St.
Powell: Powell City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Meetings are located at the Village Green, 47 Hall St.
Sunbury: Sunbury City Council meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Meetings take place on the third floor of Town Hall, 51 E. Cherry St.
Columbus: Columbus City Council meets fairly regularly, nearly each Monday at 5 p.m. Meetings are located at 90 W. Broad St. A calendar displaying council’s meeting schedule can be found here.
Dublin: Dublin City Council meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. It’s meetings take place at 5555 Perimeter Drive.
Westerville: Westerville City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Meetings are located at the Westerville Justice Center, 229 Huber Village Blvd.
Villages: Ashley, Galena, Ostrander and Shawnee Hills
Delaware County includes four villages: Ashley, Galena, Ostrander and Shawnee Hills.
Below is information regarding when and where each village’s council meets:
Ashley: Ashley Village Council meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Meetings take place at 3 N. Harrison St.
Galena: Galena Village Council typically meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 109 Harrison St.
Ostrander: Ostrander Village Council meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Jacob C. Ostrander Community Center, 19 S. Main St.
Shawnee Hills: Shawnee Hills Village Council meets each second and fourth Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Shawnee Hills Municipal Building, 9484 Dublin Road.
Delaware County townships
Delaware County includes 18 townships: Berkshire, Berlin, Brown, Concord, Delaware, Genoa, Harlem, Kingston, Liberty, Marlboro, Orange, Oxford, Porter, Radnor, Scioto, Thompson, Trenton and Troy. It also includes a portion of Washington Township.
Below is information regarding when and where each township’s trustees meet:
Berkshire Township: Berkshire Township trustees meet on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Meetings take place at 1454 Rome Corners Road in Galena.
Berlin Township: Berlin Township trustees meet on the second Monday of each month at 5 p.m. Meetings are located at Berlin Township Hall, 3271 Cheshire Road in Delaware.
Brown Township: Brown Township trustees meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Township Hall, 5555 State Route 521 in Delaware.
Concord Township: Concord Township trustees meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Concord Township Community Building, 6385 Home Road in Delaware.
Delaware Township: Delaware Township trustees meet one Monday per month at 6 p.m. Meeting dates can be found on the township’s calendar, linked here. Meetings take place at 2590 Liberty Road in Delaware.
Genoa Township: Genoa Township trustees meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Township Hall, 5111 S. Old 3C Highway in Westerville.
Harlem Township: Harlem Township trustees meet on the third Wednesday of each month beginning at 6:30 p.m. Meetings take place at the Township Community Room at 3883 S. State Route 605 in Galena.
Kingston Township: Kingston Township trustees meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Kingston Township Hall, 4063 Carter’s Corner Road in Sunbury.
Liberty Township: Liberty Township trustees meet on the second and last Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at Township Hall, 7802 Liberty Road N. in Powell.
Marlboro Township: Marlboro Township trustees meet on the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. Meetings take place at 666 Norton Road in Waldo.
Orange Township: Orange Township trustees meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m. at the Township Hall Park Moffett Room, 1680 E. Orange Road in Lewis Center.
Oxford Township: Oxford Township trustees meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 8 p.m. at the Oxford Township Hall, 5125 Shoemaker Road in Ashley.
Porter Township: Porter Township trustees meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Meetings take place at 12826 McKay St. in Sunbury.
Radnor Township: Radnor Township trustees meet on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Radnor Township Community Hall, 4061 State Route 203 in Radnor.
Scioto Township: Scioto Township trustees meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. and the third Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the Township Community Center, 3737 Ostrander Road in Ostrander.
Thompson Township: Thompson Township trustees meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at 4373 State Route 257 N. in Radnor.
Trenton Township: Trenton Township trustees meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Trenton Township Hall, 15495 Hartford Road in Sunbury.
Troy Township: Troy Township trustees meet on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Meetings take place at the Troy Township Hall, 4293 U. S. Route 23 N. in Delaware.
