DELAWARE — Main Street Delaware called, and the Delaware community answered.

The non-profit raised a little over $28,000 before the end of March to continue hosting two free-to-enter Summer on Winter concerts under the historic Bun’s Restaurant and Bar arch.

The Gentlemen of the Road took the stage for the first of the two community-favorite concerts on Wednesday. Hundreds of folks, armed with lawn chairs, packed Winter Street to hear their favorite tune.

“I was fortunate to have such a huge community backing; from the general public sending their Venmo balances to businesses and organizations stepping up to sponsor these concerts,” Main Street Delaware Executive Director Courtney Hendershot-Graf said.

Hendershot-Graf also thanked the presenting sponsor, Columbus State’s Delaware campus, and the following businesses for supporting the series:

  • Cap City Staging
  • Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Delaware
  • Marysville Motorsports
  • Raising Cane’s
  • Destination Delaware County Ohio
  • Bun’s Restaurant and Bar
  • Newman Roofing
  • North Orange Family Dentistry
  • Emergency Plumbing Heating & Air
  • AudioNova
  • Rosebud’s
  • Bandit’s Bar
  • Regus
  • Jablonka Real Estate Partners
  • Grodhaus Landscape Design Co.
  • TTM Mechanical

Main Street will host its second Summer on Winter concert on August 12, featuring the Thirsty Travelers.
