Main Street Delaware's Back-to-School Bash takes place Sept. 4.

DELAWARE – Main Street Delaware’s upcoming Back-to-School Bash is sure to be fun for all ages and will feature a rock-climbing wall, over 10 giant inflatables, live music from a local band, yard games, free popcorn & cotton candy, and more!

Several school clubs and groups will be present from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 4 at the Back-to-School Bash, and many downtown stores and restaurants will stay open late.

Delaware County Transit’s FLEX services will run until 10 p.m. during the special event. Schedule a ride to and from the Delaware City locations you choose for $2 each way or $1 for those 65 and older or 18 and under.

FLEX service also will be available for the remaining First Fridays this year as well as the South Block Rock concert on Sept. 10.

The Sept. 4 First Friday celebration is generously sponsored by Delaware Christian Church and Newman Roofing.

Main Street Delaware’s weekly Farmers’ Market will continue to offer fresh, locally grown produce and other treats from 9 a.m. to noon each Saturday through Oct. 31. The 2026 Farmers’ Market is sponsored by OhioHealth, First Citizens National Bank, Performance Delaware, Honda Marysville Motorsports, Marzetti, and Willow Brook Christian Communities.
