All results are unofficial until both Boards of Elections certify the results.
DMMHRSB Executive Director Deanna Brant previously told Delaware Source the board’s levies have generally passed since 1977, with one exception in 1995.
“The Delaware-Morrow Mental Health and Recovery Services Board (DMMHRSB) is thankful for the continuation of levy support in Delaware and Morrow Counties following the passage of the Mental Health and Recovery Services Levy on Tuesday’s ballot,” the board stated in a press release.
“Combining a 1.0 mill renewal with a 0.5-mill increase, the levy will help sustain the local behavioral health system that more than 25,000 residents rely on each year.”
In the release, Brant said the board is “incredibly grateful to the voters of Delaware and Morrow Counties for recognizing the importance of these services and investing in the well-being of our communities.”
“This outcome represents more than support for a levy,” Brant added. “It represents a commitment to our neighbors, our families, and others in our communities who need support at some point in their lives.”
