We’ve heard from families, former staff and community members who see the maternity unit as more than a hospital service.

Grady Memorial Hospital’s inpatient maternity unit is scheduled to close Friday, July 31, ending hospital-based labor and delivery services in Delaware County.
OhioHealth has said the decision was driven by declining labor and delivery volume at Grady and a desire to direct deliveries to hospitals with more advanced maternity and newborn resources, while keeping prenatal and postpartum care available locally.
